MAY 3-5 WAKE UP YOGI BEAR™
Let's start off the season with a blast & get ready for a fun-filled summer! Make a special noise maker with Jellystone Park staff. Wear your pj's for the Friday night wagon ride to start celebrating Yogi waking up Saturday moming.
MAY 10-12 MOTHER'S DAY
It's Mom's SPECIAL Weekend!! Treat Mom like royalty this weekend. Let's give Mom Saturday night off and join us for a special spaghetti dinner ($) in the large pavilion. Bring the whole family and Moms eat free.
MAY 17-19 ARTS AND CRAFTS/FLEA MARKET
Combine shopping and camping all in one location. Bring your arts and crafts projects, or flea market treasures, and set up shop on your campsite. Please, no resale of new retail items. From 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. there will be no day fees for shoppers or registered vendors. Think of the shopping and selling on every campsite! Activities are always available for the children.
MAY 24-27 RACING INTO SUMMER
Ladies and Gentlemen, Start your engines!! The 20th annual race is ready to roll! Bring a cardboard box that will fit around your child to make those racecars for the "Big Race" on Sunday afternoon. Don't forget your pit crew and an extra pair of shoes. Dances return for the season (Memorial Day through September 28th) along with tournaments and karaoke. There is a 3 night minimum. There is a $15 holiday surcharge. The full camping fee is required for the deposit.
May 31-June 2 SUPER HERO WEEKEND
Dress and act as your favorite super hero. There will be silly games, car races, and obstacle races. Dance the night away on Saturday night.
JUNE 7-9 MARDI GRAS WEEKEND
Let's celebrate Mardi Gras Yogi Bear style! Decorate your bikes, golf carts, pets or yourself (if you want) for our parade. Make your own masks, necklaces, and participate in hourly activities.
JUNE 14-16 FATHER'S DAY
Dad, this is your time to spend with your kids!! Try your hand at Dad and child activities, and don't forget about the Famous Dad's contests! Come together to the pavilion for games galore. Dads show the children how to dance at the Saturday night dance.
JUNE 21-23 CHOCOLATE WEEKEND
Bring extra clothes for this weekend! Everything, including games, will involve chocolate. Adults and children love the chocolate activities, chocolate slip and slide, and chocolate pudding eating contest. Try your hand at messy musical chairs. Dance the night away with Dr. Feelgood.
JUNE 28-30 HAWAIIAN FUN WEEKEND ALOHA!
Bring your beach towels, sunglasses, swimsuit, and sunscreen to hula your day away at Jellystone Park. Dr. Feelgood will definitely being playing the limbo dance this weekend! Play the Hawaiian Island hop, musical beach towels and do arts and crafts this weekend.
JULY 3-7 "STARS & STRIPES" 4TH OF JULY
Join Yogi Bear™ & staff to celebrate America's birthday. Decorate your site in red, white, and blue to win a voucher toward camping. Decorations may not be affixed to the cabin in any way. Decorate your bike, wagon, dog or even your little brother and join a patriotic parade. Bring a dessert for a Camp Sunshine dessert action($). Holiday tournaments return along with karaoke and dances. There is a 3 night minimum. There is a $15.00 holiday surcharge. The full camping fee is required for the deposit.
JULY 12-14 BIRTHDAY FOR YOGI BEAR
You're invited to attend a birthday party for Yogi that you won't forget! Come and decorate a birthday card for Yogi. Join the staff for cake (provided) and birthday singing. Join Yogi Bear for lunch ($), wagon rides and a dance.
JULY 19-21 WET & WILD
If you like to stay "dry", then this weekend is not for you!!! Just like always, get ready for a "Soaking good time"! Don't forget your wristband for the campground wide water fight! Wet wagon ride (campsite involvement in soaking the wagon riders), sponge tag, water limbo and pool games are just a few of the fun activities. There will be an annual water ball fight with the Knightstown Volunteer Fire Department (ages 14+) weather permitting.
JULY 26-28 CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Santa Claus is coming to Jellystone Park via the Knightstown Volunteer Fire Department. Please provide a SMALL wrapped gift for your child, ($10 value or less), for Santa to give to your child. Decorate your site to win vouchers for camping. Cabins are not to be decorated. Try your hand at "ice skating", snowball fights, and making your own ornament for our Christmas tree.
AUGUST 2-4 CIVIL WAR WEEKEND
It's 1863, and the Union and Confederate Armies will be encamped at Jellystone Park. You and your family will be able to experience how they lived, ate, slept, played, dressed, drilled, and fought through our living history reenactment. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience what life was like during the Civil War. Many hands-on activities and demonstrations will be available.
AUGUST 9-11 FIESTA PARTY
Join in the celebration of the Yogi Bear™ Fiesta Party! Make your Fiesta crafts and play active games. Bring your best salsa to the large pavilion and let the judges see who makes the best salsa at Jellystone Park™. Don't forget to come to the Saturday night dance!
AUGUST 16-18 PRINCESS AND PIRATES
Ahoy mates and maidens! Can you follow a treasure map? Can you walk the plank? Will gold be found? Will fingernails get painted, and eye shadow applied? You will just have to come and enjoy the fun to find the answers to these questions. Whole families can come to the dance as a beautiful princesses or daring pirates.
AUGUST 23-25 PET PARADE
Bring your family pets and participate in fun activities. There will be a pet show with costumes, a pet parade, and a pet talent show. There will be awards for various categories. As always there will be games and crafts for all. Sorry, no pit bulls are allowed in the campground
AUGUST 30- SEPTEMBER 2
LABOR DAY WEEKEND (HELP RAISE MONEY FOR CAMP SUNSHINE)
This is the last big weekend before summer is over and let's enjoy it!! Come join Yogi and staff to help raise money for Camp Sunshine. Campers feel free to bring a dessert for the dessert auction and a nice item to donate for the silent auction. We will have a 50/50 raffle, a dessert auction, a silent auction and hourly activities. Holiday tournaments and karaoke return. There is a 3 night minimum. There is a $15.00 holiday surcharge. The full camping fee is required for the deposit.
SEPTEMBER 6-8 CELEBRATE GRANDPARENTS
Celebrate camping with grandparents. Grandparents camping with grandchildren receive 20% off the camping fee at time of check-in. Bring those grandchildren and participate in "twin" activities and games with them. Tie dye or ceramics($) will be available. Join in the Saturday night dance with Yogi Bear.
SEPTEMBER 13-15 BIRTHDAY FOR BOO BOO™
Boo Boo™ can hardly wait for his BIG day!! Come help Yogi make this a great weekend. Join the bears and staff for party games and have cookies and ice cream. Plus, make a special card to hang up for Boo Boo™ and dance on Saturday night.
SEPTEMBER 20-22 BIRTHDAY FOR CINDY BEAR™
Let's make this year the best year for a birthday party with Cindy Bear™ !! . Join Cindy Bear™ on the wagon and sing "Happy Birthday" to her. Have lunch with the bears ($), make arts and crafts, and dance on Saturday night.
SEPTEMBER 27-29 LITTLE GOBLINS
This is a non-scary weekend for the little ones!! Visit the pumpkin patch where registered children 12 and under will receive a free pumpkin. Do pumpkin decorating, a costume parade, and enjoy trick or treating with Yogi Bear at the campsites (bring candy for about 150 kids).
OCTOBER 4-6 GREAT PUMPKIN
Help Yogi Bear™ search for the Great Pumpkin!! Ride the Pumpkin Express to the pumpkin patch where registered children 12 and under will receive a free pumpkin. Do pumpkin decorating, a costume contest, and enjoy trick or treating with Yogi at the campsites (bring candy for about 150 kids).
OCTOBER 11-13
GHOSTS & GOBLINS (LEGEND OF CLAYTON DILLON)
After the Legend is told will you still want to walk around the campground? Will you still sit by your campfire? Will you go to the haunted R.V.? Join in trick or treating at the campsites (bring candy for about 150 kids), tie-dye or ceramics ($), a costume parade, arts and crafts, and games.
OCTOBER 18-20 HEADLESS HORSEMAN
The Headless Horseman rides again at Jellystone Park™. Will Jake find Maxwell this year? Come out and see what happens during this fun-filled weekend. There will be trick or treating at the campsites (bring candy for about 150 kids), costume parade, treats in the haystack and other creepy things to try.
OCTOBER 25-27 SCARECROWS & SPOOKS
This is the biggest, scariest, and spookiest weekend for all to enjoy!!! Join Yogi staff in making this the best end of the season party around. We need everyone's help to put Yogi to bed for the season. Haunted wagon rides, trick or treating (bring candy for approx. 200 children), arts and crafts, a costume dance, and more activities will haunt you! Ask to join in a scary scene for the haunted wagon ride. Decorate your campsite to win a voucher towards camping. Decorations may not be affixed to the cabin in any way. There is a $15.00 holiday surcharge. The full camping fee is required for the deposit.
